Definitions

TRIR - Total Recordable Incident Rate. (Recordable incidents x 200,000) / Hours worked. Target 2.7.
LTIR - Lost Time Incident Rate. (Incidents with lost time x 200,000) / Hours worked. Target 0.6.
DAIR - Days Away Incident Rate. (Incidents with days away x 200,000) / Hours worked. Target 1.1.
Severity Rate - (Lost + restricted days x 200,000) / Hours worked. Target 75.
Recordable - Beyond first aid: medical treatment, days away, restricted duty, transfer, LOC, significant injury.
Near-Miss - Unplanned event that could have resulted in injury or damage. Higher reporting = healthier safety culture.
